Time Is Only Wasting…So Why Wait For Eventually?

The funny thing about social networks is, you can be whoever you want to be and say whatever you want to say, even if it’s not true in your real life. The internet is a fantasy world, where you can recreate yourself…and be who you really want to be in real life.

Let me let you in on a little secret. If you stopped talking about it online, and started making it happen…you could stop being miserable…and start really living.

To that point…one of my least favorite sentiments around this time of year is “20xx is going to be my year!” or “In 20xx I’m going to {insert something one is capable of doing in the current year}”

The point is, all this chatter, especially on social networks, is POINTLESS. That is, if there is nothing to back it up. There is a difference between setting goals and achieving them, and making resolutions and watching them slip out of your grasp a few weeks after you set them.

Attainable goals must come with a plan of action. You can not just say: “In 2011 I want to become an entrepreneur” and then keep trudging away at your day job…without making any strides to do exactly what it is that you want to do. If you have an idea, there is no time like the present to begin making your dream a reality. Wise people know that in order to make their dreams reality, you must get up and make them happen!

So today’s challenge for you, is to look at the year ahead and set GOALS instead of RESOLUTIONS. Plan your work, then work your plan. You all have the potential to reach your greatness, but…we can’t be afraid of it. I’ve come to believe that the only thing really holding me back from doing whatever I want to do, be or have, is me. Stepping out of the way of your blessing right now, will bring your success quicker.

Time is only wasting, so why wait for eventually? Our tomorrow’s are not promised, so there’s no reason not to give 100% daily. If you don’t grind, you won’t shine…and you’ll just be left with a bunch of empty, unfulfilled resolutions.
